Manatt Entertainment Partner Binta Niambi Brown will speak in a session titled “On the Future of Music and the Promise of Music Education” at USC Thorton School of Music’s American Music Mentorship Program on October 23, 2024.

The American Music Mentorship Program (AMMP), part of the U.S. Department of State's Global Music Diplomacy Initiative, uses music as a diplomatic tool to promote peace and democracy worldwide. This year, AMMP is bringing mid-career music industry professionals from across Africa (Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Nigeria) to Los Angeles, where they will connect with U.S.-based counterparts to exchange ideas, receive direct mentorship, and share trade and technical knowledge.
