Land Use Partner David Smith will speak on a virtual panel titled “Affordable Housing and Land Use in Metro Areas” hosted by UCLA Extension on May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon PT. The panel will explore the need for affordable housing in metropolitan areas and why it has become increasingly expensive to build, traditional and new ways to address affordable housing, and the recent passage of California housing laws SB-8 and SB-9.
