Super Bowl Festivities are in full swing in San Francisco, as
indicated by no less than seven major articles in the sports
section of today's San Francisco Chronicle. Tucked away on
page 5 of that section are a number of items headed "NFL Notes,"
the second of which, in small print, is "Concussions Soar."

comparing 2014 and 2015 regular season games. The NFL's Senior Vice
President of Health and Safety Policy puts a positive spin on this,
attributing it to trainers and independent neurologists on the
sidelines, who "are much more actively participating in identifying
this injury."
