The Daily Journal interviewed Manatt's Benjamin Shatz, co-chair of the firm's Appellate practice, for an article about the Supreme Court of California's decision to regularly broadcast oral arguments live on the Internet as part of a push to open up the judicial branch to the public.
"I think that broadcasting would be a very welcome addition [to the state Supreme Court], and it wouldn't be bizarre to California appellate practitioners," Shatz said. "This is the new normal."
