Manatt's Susan Hori, a partner in the Real Estate and Land Use practice, will be inducted into the 2015-2016 Class of the Distinguished Fellows Program, the premier professional engagement program of the Department of Planning, Policy and Design in the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. Hori’s real-world experience in land use planning and policy issues will provide unique mentorship and learning opportunities for the Masters of Urban and Regional Planning and Doctoral students selected to participate in the program.
The purpose of the Distinguished Fellows Program is to connect senior planning and policy leaders to graduate students and alumni in urban planning, supplementing the students’ studies with invaluable career guidance and exposure to a wide variety of policy interests. The Distinguished Fellows are invited to give a formal colloquium on current land use issues affecting the future of urban planning in Southern California and to speak to at least one of the school’s graduate planning classes during the 2015-2016 academic year.
