Law360 reports that law firms have begun positioning themselves to represent clients through entire development projects and are also becoming experts in key emerging areas. Moyer told Law360 that Manatt has positioned itself to guide clients through all aspects of projects, large and small.
Firms are also closely eyeing the latest changes and developments in the alternative energy sector and are adapting their practices accordingly.
Moyer said that a development to watch is the question of how energy-related technology will become embedded into buildings.
"I have a software program that makes your building more energy efficient," Moyer said. "How do I get that into the system?"
