Manatt Digital Media Has Made Waves in the Last Year

The one-year anniversary of Manatt Digital Media, a fully-integrated professional services division within Manatt, Phelps & Philips, LLP, was featured by the Daily Journal in an article describing the successes of the company over the last year.

The Daily Journal reports that since its launch a year ago, the venture is making waves as a triple threat of legal counsel, business strategy and investments in the digital media space. In the past year, Manatt Digital Media has taken stakes in budding companies like social analytics startup Ninja Metrics, Inc., multichannel network DanceOn, movie gaming app TrailerPop and digital advertising enterprise Adomic.

The investments aren't just one-off, either. Manatt continues to work with these companies by providing legal and business advice. Manatt Digital Media CEO Peter Csathy said, "We only invest in companies where we can be active participants in helping them grow."

"Really almost every industry has needs around digital media," said T. Hale Boggs, chair of Manatt Digital Media. "The pipeline is building. It's really more and more happening every day, every week."
