Tim is a highly respected senior technology executive and consultant for both startups and Fortune 100 companies alike, and he utilizes his vast technical knowledge as well as his strategy and leadership experience to advise clients on how to most effectively embrace leading edge technologies. Tim has an extensive background navigating the practical and tactical use of AI, both as a data scientist and technologist as well as from an implementation and regulatory perspective. Working across the various industries central to Manatt’s platform, he has broad experience in data governance and managing large-scale data sets, including coding and programming. He also advises on how new entities can use this data effectively and provides insight that covers the entirety of their lifecycle, including requirements, customer experience, design and DevOps.
A former CTO, Tim has a sophisticated understanding of the technical, operational and regulatory processes surrounding the creation and implementation of emerging technologies. He has spearheaded innovation research and development as well as worked closely with management committees on how to operationalize. Prior to joining Manatt, Tim founded the data science practice at a large management consulting services company. He also served as a strategic adviser and operations manager at a nonprofit biotechnology company, where he helped advance the use of information and life science technology in support of leadingedge programs in discovery and translational research, including laboratory systems software for earlystage discovery programs involving genomics, in situ hybridization, sophisticated imaging and mass spectrometry.
