Shannon advises the leadership of health systems and academic medical centers, health plans, state governments and philanthropic organizations on strategic, financial, organizational and operational issues. She has significant experience working with academic and children’s health systems, with a particular focus on driving outcomes with measurable impact in clinical growth, innovation, service line strategy and execution, and affiliations and partnerships.
Before joining Manatt, Shannon directed strategic consulting projects and managed teams for a major health care consulting firm. Her efforts included developing strategic plans for large academic health systems, as well as advising multiple children’s hospitals on network integration and organizational transformation.
Shannon has also worked within provider organizations as a service line director and has managed operations for a physician practice at a large academic medical center, where she oversaw business development and transformational change, including clinical integration and improving patient access.
With over 15 years of health care consulting experience advising on issues surrounding mergers and acquisitions, clinical integration, and delivery system transformation, Shannon is uniquely positioned to guide clients through the financial and operational challenges facing health systems today.
