Rebecca Finkel is a senior health care litigation associate in the Firm’s Chicago office. Rebecca has extensive experience in commercial litigation, civil and criminal enforcement actions, and internal investigations. She advocates on behalf of clients across industries, with a focus on representing health care providers.
Rebecca regularly appears in state and federal courts and has handled matters before the American Arbitration Association and other alternative dispute resolution tribunals. She has also represented clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and self-regulatory organizations, such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
Alongside this work, Rebecca is dedicated to her pro bono practice. She has represented several clients in pursuing their Section 1984 civil rights claims, including in two jury trials. She has additionally represented asylum seekers, victims of domestic violence and parents wrongfully indicted for abuse.
Previously, Rebecca served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rebecca R. Pallmeyer and the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
