Manatt’s Richard Costigan, a senior director of State & Government Affairs, was interviewed by The Sacramento Bee about California Governor-elect Gavin Newsom’s job openings.
Newsom released a written statement encouraging individuals from both sides of the political aisle to apply to jobs open under his administration. The publication noted that there are a total of 3,100 state jobs to fill.
Costigan examined the amount of time that is dedicated to working in public service and said, “Plan on having no life and working all the time.”
