The Recorder quoted Manatt’s Steve Coony, a managing director with the firm’s government and regulatory practice, in an article about what to expect from Xavier Becerra’s first days as Attorney General of California.
“The real trick is creating the right blend of experience and reliable judgment that already exists in the department . . . with people from the outside, including probably some people from his congressional team,” said Coony. “My sense is they care a lot about putting together a team that works well together.”
