Fortune included insights from Manatt’s Jonah Frohlich, a managing director with Manatt Health, in an article on the president’s declaring the opioid crisis a public health emergency. Frohlich told the publication that the declaration is a step in the right direction but may not be enough.
“The administration’s declaration of a public health emergency is a step in the right direction, but it does not go far enough,” said Frohlich. “More funding is absolutely vital to support city and county programs to confront the fallout from substance use disorders.”
Frohlich was also quoted by Becker’s Hospital Review and Law360 for articles on the same subject.
