Andy Schultz, partner in Manatt’s New York office, has been a transactional real estate attorney in private practice for more than 30 years. He has handled all manner of transactions including, acquisitions and dispositions (single and multiple assets), joint ventures (representing developers and money partners), leases (office, retail, industrial, ground and subleases, representing landlords and tenants), financings (construction, permanent and bridge, representing borrowers and lenders) and public-private partnerships. Andy has represented private equity funds, family funds, high net worth individuals, insurance companies, public agencies, private developers, public companies, hospital systems, commercial banks and pension fund managers.
Prior to joining Manatt, Andy was counsel at two large New York law firms. He served as chairman of the New York City Loft Board from 1992 to 1994 and as counsel to the New York City Deputy Mayor for Policy and Planning from 1992 to 1993.
