Star of ‘Super Size Me’ Faces Contract Breach Lawsuit

“Super Size Me” Star Hit With Contract Breach Suit
– Daily Journal

Manatt’s Robert Jacobs, co-chair of the firm’s entertainment, sports and media litigation practice, was quoted by the Daily Journal for an article on a recent lawsuit involving “Super Size Me” star Morgan Spurlock.

The publication noted that Spurlock confessed to sexual harassment and resigned from his own company, and was sued by a media company four months later for allegedly breaching their agreement.

At the heart of the lawsuit is the fact that Spurlock was unavailable for the project, said Jacobs. While that’s what is “legally relevant,” Jacobs said bringing up the confession “is much more for color and context.”
