Stacey Mayer is an associate in Manatt’s Advertising, Marketing & Media practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. She counsels clients on a wide range of advertising and marketing matters; most notably, she provides guidance on the complex legal and regulatory issues that arise when structuring multiplatform digital promotional campaigns. When questions surrounding the use of consumers’ personally identifiable information arise, Ms. Mayer advises clients on privacy-related issues and drafts privacy policies and Web site terms and conditions. Her work also includes assisting clients in initiating and defending challenges to advertising claims, and she has experience with disputes filed in court and before the Council of Better Business Bureaus’ National Advertising Division, as well as regulatory investigations.
Prior to joining Manatt, Ms. Mayer was an associate in an international law firm, where she advised clients on intellectual property, advertising, and marketing-related matters.
