Mr. López is an associate with the Litigation Division in the Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on employment and consumer class actions. Mr. López has represented a wide variety of clients in state and federal court, including employers and clients in healthcare and banking industries.
Outside of litigation, Mr. López also advises clients regarding the development, substantiation, approval and defense of advertising and legal compliance, and also assists clients across a wide variety of industries on contracts and bid protests with the City and County of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles World Airports.
Mr. López also completed the Trial Advocacy Program through the Los Angeles County Bar Association and tried misdemeanor cases with the Los Angeles Metropolitan Division of the District Attorney's Office during the summer of 2012.
While in law school, Mr. López externed for the Honorable Richard W. Roberts of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C., served as the Executive Editor of the American University International Law Review, and competed in the corporate and securities law national moot court competitions at the University of Delaware School of Law and at Fordham Law School, respectively.
Outside of work, Mr. López serves on the Executive Board of the Young Professionals Council for the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center.
