Manatt Health National Advisor Donna O’Brien will speak at a session titled, “Funding Considerations to Increase Representativeness in Clinical Trials” on March 28, from 12:50-1:50 pm EST at the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy upcoming virtual, public convening.

Duke-Margolis will host a virtual public convening on Thursday, March 28, 2023, where speakers will expand on the discussion that began in the July 2023 public meeting titled, “Advancing Representative Enrollment in Clinical Trials.” Expert speakers across this interdisciplinary field will highlight collaborative goals among stakeholders that aim to increase representativeness in clinical trials. Additionally, these experts will engage the audience in interactive sessions on the best ways to build a sustainable foundation for community engagement; discuss the funding needs, incentives, and business case for increasing representativeness; and highlight the necessary considerations for the successful scaling of innovative trial infrastructures.
