Object Health Joins Manatt Health Solutions
NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, January 17, 2007 - Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, the national law and consulting firm, announced today that Julie Murchinson and Timathie Leslie, principals in Object Health, a healthcare information technology management consulting firm based in San Francisco, and their colleagues have joined Manatt Health Solutions, the policy and business advisory division of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, LLP, effective January 1, 2007.

Since 2004, founders Julie Murchinson and Timathie Leslie have led efforts to assist healthcare organizations and communities optimize health information for improved operational efficiencies and clinical health outcomes. Object Health works with foundations, community health centers, communities, health IT companies, healthcare delivery and healthcare payer organizations to achieve improved quality of care enabled by health IT. The Object Health team will remain in their current San Francisco office location as part of Manatt Health Solutions.

Ms. Murchinson is joining Manatt Health Solutions as a managing director.
Previously, Ms. Murchinson served as vice president of services at CareScience, Inc., as a consultant for Deloitte & Touche and as a consultant in the healthcare practice of Ernst & Young. Ms. Murchinson obtained her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Healthcare and Operations Management. She holds a B.A. in Business Management/Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
"This move is a natural evolution for Julie and me," said Timathie Leslie, Object Health's co-founder and principal, who is joining Manatt Health Solutions as a managing director. "Manatt's larger platform will enable us to stay at the forefront of advising clients on new models of healthcare delivery, supported by improved health information technologies. We will also continue our work on health information privacy and security issues."
Ms. Leslie, previously served as director of technology solutions at CareScience, Inc., as director of partner relations for the National IPA Coalition, as a senior healthcare consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and in the IT strategy practice of Coopers & Lybrand. Ms. Leslie holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
