Claire Hofbauer is an associate with the Family Wealth Transfer Planning and Trust & Estate Administration practice group in the San Francisco office. She has represented individuals and closely held businesses before the IRS as well as advised high-net worth individuals, professional business managers and accounting professionals on a variety of estate planning and tax-related matters. She also practices in the firm's Nonprofit group, where she assists in the formation of nonprofit corporations, and the preparation of exemption applications and state law regulatory forms.
Ms. Hofbauer has successfully represented two clients as defense counsel in Title 31 (BSA) and Title 26 cases.
