Manatt Attorneys Named to Los Angeles Business Journal Who's Who In Law 2007
August 20, 2007 - Manatt partners Gordon M. Bava, Alan M. Brunswick, and name partner L. Lee Phillips have been named to Los Angeles Business Journal's list of Who's Who In Law 2007 -- a compilation of attorneys who are regarded as the best in their business. Mr. Phillips was noted for his stellar, long-term career in music and entertainment law, and representation of top talents like Barbra Streisand. Mr. Bava, Chair of Manatt's Corporate and Capital Markets groups and a member of the firm's Board of Directors, was highlighted for his outstanding work in the corporate area. Mr. Brunswick, Chair of the firm's Entertainment practice was named as a leading attorney in labor and employment issues, especially those involving the guilds.
Methodology: The staff of the newspaper sought nominations for outstanding lawyers in 10 practice areas. An informal committee comprised of knowledgeable figures in the local legal community selected from the nominees those attorneys whose career achievements merit special designation.
