Manatt Partner Discusses Commercial Lending in the Present Market

August 23, 2011 – Manatt’s Clayton B. Gantz, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate & Land Use Practice Group, discussed commercial lending in today’s market with The Distressed Debt Report, a publication offering news and analysis of distressed debt in the middle market.
The publication reports that there are more commercial mortgage-backed security lenders in the market today than there were a year ago, though Gantz says portfolio lenders were never out of the market.
“Life companies have always been there and banks are back in force,” said Gantz.
