Renee Lindsey has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate arena. Serving as a key part of Manatt’s real estate team, her work includes assisting the attorneys with the review of the transactional documents related to the acquisition or sale of real property, preparation of conveyance documents, resolution of title issues, and managing the timely flow of the transaction from inception to closing.
Before joining Manatt, Ms. Lindsey was a Vice-President and Credit Risk Officer for the Bank America Mortgage Group of Bank of America, N.A. Her responsibilities included, defining the Mortgage Bank’s policy for the underwriting of Residential Real Estate Loans for sale to the Secondary Market, negotiating and developing products that represented sound credit risk and market appeal, developing and resolving the Mortgage Bank’s title service issues, and delivering training to a nationwide underwriting staff.
Ms. Lindsey also has extensive experience in the regulatory realm related to real estate transactions. She served as the compliance manager for an origination center located in Southern California with a staff of 1,200 employees. Her responsibilities required her to maintain satisfactory ratings from the Regulatory Agencies and Internal Auditors. With her multi-faceted background, Ms. Lindsey brings a unique blend of skills to real estate projects.
Ms. Lindsey also is responsible for coordination and training of firm notarial staff. Her responsibilities include monitoring the changes to notarial law, forms to be utilized and implementation of new policies and procedures.
